Hawaii Vinyl Fencing, Inc. was established in 1994 after we had purchased a home
in Hawaii Kai that had wrought iron fencing surrounding the back of the property.

We attempted to maintain the fence by scrapping, sanding, priming and painting.
But after 2 years it was to no avail, the rusting continued.

A replacement was needed, but the type of material to be used was the big questions. Traditional wood and metal fencing would continue to deteriorate, as well as require annual maintence and upkeep against the weather elements that Hawaii has.

As faith would have it we happened upon an article from a magazine that was promoting vinyl fencing as an alternative to traditional fencing materials.  In researching the benefits of vinyl material it became clear to us that vinyl would be a great product especially for Hawaii. However, we found that there were problems with obtaining the product locally.

A business opportunity presented itself and Hawaii Vinyl Fencing, Inc. was born as a home grown business in the garage.

For 2 years we worked out of our garage and side yard, off loading containers, fabricating and distributing the vinyl fence material. Much to the dismay of our neighbors.

Finally it was time to set up a proper fabrication warehouse and we moved our operations to a warehouse in Kalihi. However, that only lasted a year, as demand continued to grow.

Next was a 3000 sq ft warehouse on Sand Island with an office trailer that we operated in for 8 years.

Once again, the demand had out grown our facility and in 2005 we relocated to our present location, a 10,000 sq ft warehouse with 1,800 sq ft of offices and showroom facility located on Koapaka St.

Over the years we have continued to upgrade our facilities and fabrication technology. We now operate with state of the art CNC fabrication equipment.  This allows us to offer a variety of different styles and heights in vinyl fencing to our customers. We also can offer custom fabrication.
